A Look at the Motorola Backflip

by Jonah on March 10, 2010

Today we’ll have a short look at Motorola Backflip. The Motorola Backflip is AT&T’s first Android phone in the market. This smartphone has a QWERTY keyboard which explains the bulky weight and features a 5-megapixel camera. Let’s get back to the QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard can be swung around 180 degrees, in other words, you can move it around to suit yourself. Even when the keyboard is closed or hidden away, a small navigational touchpad, also known as the Backtrack, will be on the 3.1-inch touchscreen. The touchpad can be used to scroll and select items on the menu. The phone runs on Google Android OS 1.5. The phone has multiple features including mobile TV, music player, video player, GPS and 3G/WiFi. We tried running several programs at the same time on the phone and the phone suddenly slowed down so guess no heavy duty on the Backflip.

The Backflip is considered not that heavy, weighting in at 4.7 ounces. If you are interested in the Motorola Backflip, AT&T is offering the phone now at $100 with a 2-year contract. Hurry and get yours if you think this is a good offer.
