A Peek at Motorola Clutch i465

by Jonah on March 3, 2010

The Motorola Clutch i465 is a nice small QWERTY phone. We are surprised at how light it is despite the fact that it is a QWERTY handset. The phone weighs about 3.4 ounces and measures 4.4-in x 2.1-in x 0.6-in. This Motorola phone comes with a 1.79-inch display with a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels (64,000 colors) which quite low for our standards so we had to modify a couple of features that we will view on the display including text sixe and all that. Controls/Keys on the phone are very comfortable. They are well-spaced out in between so there’s no discomfort when typing. There’s the Talk and End/power buttons, two soft keys, an OK button, a menu control and a speakerphone key.

Let’s talk about the QWERTY keyboard, the keys are small and sort of peaked but we like it as it’s not too difficult to use. The phone supports about 600 contact entries but unfortunately we don’t even have that many contacts to add. The rest are the usual features found on a handset. We forgot to mention the VGA camera on the phone that can take shots in five resolutions. Overall, if you like to use the messaging service then you would definitely appreciate this phone.
