Reviews
“We’re disappointed by the lack of 3G, but the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 is a solid update to the Curve series, bringing a better design, improved features, and faster performance and is one of T-Mobile’s top smartphone offerings.” (CNET, 2009)
“Flaws aside, is this the best BlackBerry RIM has ever made? Not necessarily — we bet we could find a diehard Bold lover for every 8900 lover out there — but until the Storm gets its act together, it’s certainly in the top two. Think of it as a Bold with the style-to-power ratio knob turned just a tiny bit further in the direction of style. Sure, you give up 3G, but who needs high-speed data when you’re hypnotized by all that chrome?” (EngadgetMobile, 2009)
“When everything is added up, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 is one of the best smartphones on the market. The 8300 series was great, but the 8900 series is even better. With GPS, an autofocus camera, good web browsing, and WiFi/UMA support, the only thing that appears to be missing is 3G. We can live with that, for now.” (MobileBurn, 2009)
