The Nokia E7, which was unveiled at the Nokia World Show held recently, will apparently be released in January next year, according to sources. It was earlier reported that the Nokia plans to release the phone by the end of this year, but turns out Nokia is choosing to wait a little while more before launching the E7 in the market.

Nokia seems to be using the same N8 tactic with the online retailer eXpansy claiming that the exact launching date of the Nokia E7 would be on January 10th 2011. Bear in mind that these are merely rumors with no confirmation yet from Nokia.

Since the Nokia E7 was unveiled, all eyes have been on the device. More likely, all hands have been waiting to get on the new business phone. The phone features a nice 4-inch AMOLED tilting touchscreen. It comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, which of course makes the phone look bigger. There’s an 8-megapixel camera that supports HD video recording. As far as its memory capacity goes, there’s a 16GB of memory in the phone. Other features include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Of course, it runs on Symbian^3. So, are you excited about the Nokia E7?

At the Nokia World event recently, Nokia showed off its new N8 smartphone. The phone is really special as it runs on Symbian^3, which is the last Symbian version. It comes with a 12-megapixel camera. It comes with HDMI out. It also comes with a 3.5-inch 360 x 640 pixel touchscreen.

The mobile phone’s company also made the official announcement of its chairman’s current situation; the chairman is set to leave in 2012. Several days earlier, Nokia made some important changes in its management. Jorma Ollila, the chairman, has proceeded to make his intentions public. He announced that he plans on stepping down as the chairman. Aside from the chairman, there were several other positions that were changed and filled-up including the head of Nokia’s mobile solutions unit who resigned.

Aside from the changes, Nokia is still the number manufacturer of mobile phones. But, the company is still facing criticism after it lost its market share to Apple, which is newer in the market than Nokia. Experts are saying Nokia is quickly making some changes to the company’s management to save its spot in the market, as well as in the industry.

Another good news for Nokia as the brand has been named the world’s most sustainable technology company for the second time! The honor was given to Nokia by Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes Review 2010. Dow Jones named Nokia the “Technology Supersector Leader”, which is considered a high honor for any brand, and Nokia has been very lucky to have held this special position for two years in a row.

Nokia is now the world’s most sustainable tech company. The mobile phones manufacturer has won this special position from 2,500 companies fighting for this title. Nokia managed to score this one as the company scored very highly compared to other brands when it came to the analysis to determine which company will be the winner. The areas that were analysed by Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes are based on corporate economic, environmental and social performance perspectives.

Nokia’s results came out really positive in terms of customer relationship management, risk management, standards for suppliers, environmental policy and management system, labor practices, talent attraction and human capital development. Here’s wishing Nokia all the accolades it deserves.

Good news for Nokia fans, or maybe bad news depending on how you look at it. On Friday, the Nokia chairman Jorma Ollila and Stephen Elop, who’s the new Nokia CEO, made the startling announcement at the Nokia headquarters in Espoo.

The chairman of Nokia has decided to stay on as his long-term position with the mobile phone manufacturer. In 2012, Nokia will be holding its Annual General Meeting around May and it is then that Ollila’s post will be taken over by somebody else, which is what the board of the company has decided.

The Nokia chairman has wanted to step down for a while now, but upon the company’s request he decided to stay on. The announcement was made by the man himself at a press conference where he also introduced the new Nokia CEO, Stephen Elop. Stephen Elop, 46 years old, is the first non-Finn person to take over the CEO post at Nokia. Here’s wishing Nokia all the success.

Nokia has been working on its own platform for some time now, and apparently it’s done now which might prompt Nokia to announce it officially in the coming weeks. Nokia’s Meego platform will be seen on Nokia’s N9 phone, according to the leaked photos.

The Nokia N9 will be the first phone to run on the Meego operating system. While this has been confirmed by Nokia, the brand refused to give out other details regarding Meego and the N9. We’ll just have to go by the leaked photos to find out more.

With the Meego operating system, Nokia is set to heavily compete with other mobile platforms such as Android and iPhone. While most phone manufacturers opt for third-party software for their devices, Nokia has always been one to create its own operating system; its Symbian platform needs no introduction. Many have complained that Nokia refused to give in when it comes to changing from Symbian to Android, as times have changed and Nokia is the largest mobile phone manufacturer with no Android phone. Let’s hope with the Meego operating system, Nokia has changed the way everyone wanted it to.

Good news for Nokia fans, the number one mobile maker has announced that it will be launching the N8 phone soon. Nokia also claimed that it doesn’t have any need for Android as of now. The Nokia N8 is a new Symbian smartphone from the brand and is expected to be out by October.

Nokia was quoted saying that it has no interest to jump in the Android wagon and they are not interested also in creating its own tablet. So overall, the brand still wants to make phones and only phones. Nokia’s vice president said that the N8 is a high mid-range priced phone.

The brand also doesn’t have any immediate plans on releasing another tablet soon. The mobile phone manufacturer is more interested in pursuing the fourth-generation cellular networks based on LTE technology. Nokia didn’t comment on who would release the phone but is expected to announce the respective carriers soon.

We know fans in India are waiting anxiously for the Nokia C6 to land there and looks like the wait might be over soon. Report has it that Nokia is all set to release their C6 there in September. Since the phone was announced and released earlier this year, we had many consumers asking when it will release in their respective places and consumers from India were one of them.

Let’s talk more on the phone, the Nokia C6 sure looks like a sweet deal. It’s set to appeal to teenagers more thanks to its social networking features on the phone. It comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It features 5-megapixel camera. The phone comes preloaded with Ovi Maps and the Ovi Store applications.

Nokia made the special announcement on Twitter, a place everyone goes to make official announcements, and the brand stated that the C6 will hopefully be out in the first week of September.

Good news for folks over in the UK! Nokia will soon be releasing their C3 phone there. The C3 from Nokia is sort of a social networking phone. It will definitely be a hit amongst teenagers but it’s hard to say as of now a lot of adults are getting the groove of social networking as well.

This is not the first phone from the C series. As a matter of fact, Nokia has released before the C1 which was the first phone from the brand to feature the support for two SIM cards. Users would just hold a key to switch between the two cards present on the phone.

The Nokia C3 is slightly different. It helps users to be up to date with their social networking accounts. Features such as SMS, MMS and IM can be all accessed by the touch of one button. Users can also access Yahoo mail, Windows Live Hotmail, Gmail. The phone comes with 2.4-inch QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution. It features a 2-megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom. There’s a 55MB internal memory and a slot for microSD card of up to 16 GB. The Nokia C3 will be released on the 18th of June at the price of £109 without a contract.

Good news for those who have been eagerly awaiting the Streak, also known as the Mini 5. Dell’s very own CEO claims that the device will now be launched by AT&T this summer.

Contrary to earlier reports that the Dell Streak can be Apple’s iPad competitor, it doesn’t seem so in this case. The Dell Streak itself looks like Sony’s PSP rather than the iPad. The Streak will use AT&T’s 3G network. It comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the back and on the front, there’s another camera. The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. It works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 1-GHz processor which is alike the processor found in Google’s Nexus One.

Recently at the Citrix Synergy conference, Dell made the announcement that they plan to launch the device in Europe first under O2 Telefonica (partnership). In the United States, Dell says that it will be released late in the summer under AT&T.

Nokia has come a long way in the mobile phone’s market. Today they are the number one cell phone manufacturer for a reason. We would say that the reason is probably due to the fact that they have released an assortment of phones, which no other brands have done before. The Nokia device we have with us today is the Nokia 2600 Classic.

From the outside, the device has a standard and solid look with a 1.77 inches TFT display that features a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and supports up to 65k hues. On the same note, the display screen is as bright as it should be thus making it no problem to view anything on it properly. Pictures and video can be taken with this phone as it comes with a VGA camera. With this phone, users can sms, email and send multi-media messaging. The phone only comes with 10MB of internal memory and there are no other options for additional memory input.

The phone measures 109.6 mm x 46.7 mm x 12 mm and weighs 73.2grams. The Nokia 2600 Classic has been released in coral orange, gold, light blue and midnight blue. The Nokia 2600 Classic is available in stores now.
