Reviews
“We are pleased with the Snap, the device has an abundance of features, it is affordable too at RM 1,599. Email functionality is the focal point of the HTC Snap, and in that it does well. However, the lack of office editing software is truly puzzling, as it would make more sense to have Word Mobile work with the extensive email system. The Internet browser is wonky to say the least, which is a downer. The camera is a little underwhelming, but we won’t hold it against HTC.” (Mobile88, 2009)
“The specificationlist of the HTC Snap was already impressive with a super fast Qualcomm MSM 7225 processor, running at 528 MHz. With sufficient memory, and all possible types of connectivity onboard the HTC snap suits various purposes. Foremost the easy and fast device navigation with the Jog Ball and an excellent full QWERTY keyboard (with offset keys) make it simply fun to work with this device on the go. The hardware keyboard design and the offset keys reduce the risk of a typing error, fore my compliments HTC.” (MobilityMinded, 2009)
“As a whole, we are more pleased than displeased with the HTC Snap. Its keyboard is OK and even if not the best on the market, it does a good stroke of business. The device itself is suitable for being carried around in your pocket, its Windows Mobile operating system delivers good organizer and email functions and Inner Circle will be of good use to people who need to deal with staggering number of emails every day. If you are looking for WM 6.1 Standard cell phone with similar design, the HTC Snap is a very good option indeed. Other suchlike handsets, but with better keyboards are the HTC S740 and Samsung Jack i637 that we have already reviewed. The latter is available in the US on AT&T only.” (PhoneArena, 2009)
