Microsoft will soon be releasing a Windows Phone 7 device that will be manufactured by Asus. If you were living under a rock all this while then you have to know that Microsoft first announced the Windows Phone 7 operating system that will be in smartphones at the MWC event recently. And now word around is that Asus will manufacture Microsoft’s first device that will operate solely on the Windows Phone 7. We saw a preview of the Windows Phone 7 operating system at the MWC and according to a source, this Windows Phone 7 device will release somewhere around in January next year. If it does release next year then the phone is expected to have the final version of the Windows Phone 7 operating system.
A Microsoft expert commented that a Microsoft phone is very likely to surface in the near future but a Zune Phone is expected to be released earlier than Microsoft’s own device. Meanwhile, the wait has already started for devices that will run on the Windows Phone 7 operating system.
