Motorola Split details

by Jonah on February 8, 2010

More details are emerging on the Motorola Split today. Based on the info, we already know that this device is a Google Android OS device and now more on the details show that the Motorola Split might have an unusual design, something innovative in the world of mobiles. What the design of this phone will be something like split keyboards that can slide out from either one of the sides of the touchscreen display. Furthermore, it is said that the keys on the keyboard will change as the device changes orientation. The Split in general looks a bit like the Motorola Droid but this one’s design seems to indicate that instead of a whole keyboard, there will be two (in small sizes) that will slide out from both sides of the screen. It might be that one side of the keyboard will just be numberpads. How this will be possible, mobile techs sites are scratching their heads to figure this out. That’s all that we know for now until it releases which is about in July or so, more details will emerge.
