Great news for all those who have been eagerly awaiting the launch of the first ever Windows Phone 7 operating system; the new release dates have been announced both for the US & UK. For folks over in the UK, Microsoft has decided to give you all a treat by launching the Windows Phone 7 there first before stepping out here in the US. So the release date over in United Kingdom will be on October 21st while for the United States, November 8th will be the lucky day.
Ever since the Windows Phone 7 OS has been reviewed earlier this year, this operating system has been one of the most anticipated systems till date. As a matter of fact, this is just what Microsoft needs to boost its sales when this OS releases. Speaking of sales, we reported earlier that Microsoft has set aside an amount close to $1 billion to be used in the promotional strategy involving the Windows Phone 7. And the timer starts now!
