The Sony Ericsson G502 is a cell phone with email freedom, HSDPA and Media Go. It was released in the year 2008 with the rest of Sony Ericsson G Series cell phones. The display cover is available in black, hazel and red. The display cover on the Sony Ericsson phone shows the Sony Ericsson wording logo. It measures (H) 4.1 inches x (W) 1.8 inch x (D) 0.5 inch and it weighs 2.9 oz. This cell phone comes in the color black.
Specifications
It offers TFT screen type which can produce 262,144 color or 240 x 320 pixels. The external screen utilizes monochrome material where it also offers 36 x 128 pixels. This cell phone supports up to 4GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) support. It supports networks such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 850/1800/1900 which allows up to 10 hours of talk time and standby up to 330 hours. As for the UMTS/HSDPA 2100 network, it allows 5 hours of talk time and 330 hours standby time. The 3G, HSDPA support is used for high download speeds.
The candy bar phone features a camera with 3.2 megapixels which allows the user to capture and share moments. The camera offers up to 4 times of digital zoom function which allows far subjects to be captured. There is also a secondary camera which allows the user to make video calls. The photo fix feature provides optimization of image quality. It offers to adjust light balance and contrast after a picture is taken. The picture blogging is said to put pictures taken with the phone online in seconds. In addition to this, this cell phone is also said to offer video blogging which put video clips in seconds for public view. The video recording provides function which captures action as it happens.
The messaging function offers email, instant messaging, picture messaging (MMS), predictive text input, sound recorder and text messaging (SMS). The email function shows the user’s email inbox which enables the user to check emails. The instant messaging provides online chat while on the move. The text messaging (SMS) provides the function of sending text greetings. In addition to this, it is said that fast and easy text messaging can be achieved via predictive text input. This cell phone has color multimedia messaging through picture messaging (MMS) feature. The sound recorder offers to take voice notes or record a sound clip to send in a message.

The Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) features music from phone to headset which is initiated over a wireless connection. The music player offers music sorting by artist, album and track. It also offers to create one’s own playlists. The Track ID feature records a few seconds of a song and gets track, artist and album information sent to the phone. This cell phone supports music tones which include MP3 and AAC where it also allows original artist recordings as the cell phone’s ringtones. The cell phone has additional applications and games which are utilized through the Java program. The Sony Ericsson G502 features video streaming where it allows the user to watch video as it arrives. The video viewing offers the viewing of videos on the cell phone screen.
The Bluetooth technology features secured wireless connectivity which transfers items to other Bluetooth products up to a range of 10 meters. The synchronization PC keeps phone contacts, calendar and organizer information aligned with corresponding information in the computer. The USB mass storage provides connection and moving of items between computer and the cell phone. In addition to this, the phone connects to the computer via USB support.
The speakerphone is said to give hands free comfort when calls are made. The vibrating alert alerts the user when the phone is in silent mode which tells the user when a call or message has come in. This cell phone has a navigation key that shows multidirectional navigation where the center key functions as the selection key. The Sony Ericsson G502 features organizer which include functions like the alarm clock, calculator, calendar, flight mode, notes, phone book, stopwatch, tasks and timer.

The cell phone also offers Google Maps which helps to navigate the users to their desired destination.
