Once upon a time (actually a while back), the mini version of SE Xperia X10 was leaked. Then it was said that the mini is named Robyn. Now the company has officially announced it with a new name, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro, how exciting! It’s almost the same as the Xperia X10 not in terms of size but in terms of its features. They both work on Android 1.6 and feature Timescape and Mediascape applications which are Sony Ericsson’s trademark applications. It features a 2.55-inch QVGA touchscreen. Both of these smartphones are 3G models with both 900/2100 HSPA and 850/1900/2100 HSPA variants. Both also have Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support that comes together with A-GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and a 3.5mm headphone socket. The mini comes with a 5-megapixel camera that features geotagging, autofocus and an LED flash. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro measures in at 83 x 50 x 16 mm and will be available in pearl white, black, pink, lime, red and silver. If all goes well, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini pro will finally make an appearance around June 2010.
