Reviews
“We liked the Sony Ericsson W995 – it’s still very much a music phone, and it does it better than virtually anything bar the iPod, and even though its camera isn’t quite at the top of the 8 megapixel game, it’s certainly good enough to make it worth your while.” (TechRadar, 2009)

“Sony Ericsson W995 is the company’s top-ranking Walkman and its spec sheet is clearly set to justify this label. The Flash-based user interface, which we’ve praised repeatedly, seems to be only getting better. There are no gaps in the connectivity set and the 3.5 mm audio jack is a long-awaited blessing.” (GSMArena, 2009)

“Yes, I’ve seen it all before – well except that welcome 3.5mm headphone jack, but I can’t help liking the W995. It is not exactly a revolution, but with GPS, Wi-Fi, excellent music playback and control, and a decent camera, it’s certainly a feature-rich handset – one that’s also well-built and relatively easy-to-use. The screen is a little on the small size to take full advantage of the available video streaming services, but its quality is good. Just remains to be seen if the W995 is a good place for the ‘W’ branding to take its final bow.” (TrustedReviews, 2009)
