
After much anticipation, the cat is finally out of the bag. We are talking about the new T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide which was finally given a release date and not forgetting, the price. In case you have never heard of this phone, let us mention that it happens to be the successor of the well known Android phone, the G1. T-Mobile announced that the myTouch 3G Slide will release on the 2nd of June this year. Of course, following the phone will be a two-year contract. The myTouch 3G Slide will be available at the price of $179.99.
Let’s talk more on the phone. The myTouch 3G Slide comes with a 3.4-inch HVGA (320 x 480 pixel) touchscreen and a trackpad with that. It works on a 600 MHz ARM processor. It also comes with Android 2.1 with HTC Sense and multi-touch support. Not forgetting, there’s a 512MB of RAM, 512MB internal storage and a free 8GB MicroSD card. There’s a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash. Lastly, there’s a keyboard, also known as Swype.
