Verizon to release HTC Lexikon?

The question on everyone’s mind as a new leaked shot reportedly shows the upcoming HTC Lexikon, which might just be released by Verizon Wireless. The phone, as seen in the picture above, looks very attractive indeed. It works on Android OS version 2.2. Though not clear in the picture, experts claim the Lexikon is a slider phone. Some go even far claiming that the HTC Lexikon has similarities with upcoming HTC Desire Z and T-Mobile G2.

The leaked shot of the yet-announced HTC model, the Lexikon, is reported to be a high-end smartphone. It has also been reported based on the leaked picture that Verizon Wireless will be responsible for its release.

Let’s talk more about the features of this new phone. The HTC Lexikon comes with a 3.8-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen display. It comes with a standard set of control buttons and a D-pad. It runs on Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) on an 800 MHz processor. Not forgetting the 512 MB of RAM. Rumored to be on are a 5-megapixel camera and 4 GB of internal storage.
